When you book The Stones, then, you should KNOW what you are getting. If you don't want that, then why do you book them? Kids don't give a shit about The Stones. There are lots of other aging rockers out there eager for a global audience. My only guess is that The Rolling Stones themselves sought the gig which doesn't surprise me. Mick Jagger has always been a shrewd businessman. The music was never first for him. Once in a while their songs get up into the artistry range but more often than not they're filler.
