The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension (1984) **

Borderline camp pastiche of 30's-40's pulp fiction heroes re-imagined for 80's sensibilities doesn't quite work, but parts are fun. John Lithgow is a hoot.
