Literally a noir, borrows heavily from
the Coens,
Lynch,
Gilliam and
German expressionism, is a bit too long and unfortunately influenced too many cinematographers with its darkness. Nice role for
Riff-Raff, but
Kiefer does a terrible
Peter Lorre imitation.
